California Drivers Ed

Here's how the process works. Students enroll in our state approved California Drivers Ed course at age 15. California law requires a student to be at least 15½ years of age when applying for their provisional instructional permit. Ideally, students will begin the course at 15 or a few months prior to 15½.

California Drivers EdStudents must complete the entire 30 hour online course in order to receive the OL-237 (Certificate of Completion of a state approved course). Once the student has completed our state approved course, issued their certificate and being at least 15½ years of age, they can apply for their provisional instructional permit.

The student will complete a six hour driver training program with a local driver education school of their choice. After six months with their provisional instructional permit, being at least 16 years of age and having completed their six hour driver training course, the student can apply for their provisional drivers license.

Our state approved California drivers ed course will guide both the student and parent through the entire process, including what forms to fill out and bring to the DMV office. There is no second guessing with our course. We provide every detail needed. We know how valuable your time is and we want to ensure the process is as painless and rewarding as possible!

Best of all, the course can be completed at your own pace. Many parents and teens have busy schedules and our course is designed specifically so that it can be completed around your busy schedule!

Course Comments

Loved the course, it was really easy to follow! Brian worked on the course after school. It took a while to do the driving part, because Dave and I both commute to and from work, so we had to do it on the weekends. Brian has his license now and can drive himself to school! Thanks again!

We were a little skeptical of the course, but it really does work. Isabel did the lessons on the computer after dinner. She passed the permit test on the first try and now has her license and is driving to school. Can't beat the price either! Overall, a great course and we were very pleased.
